Today's verse for me was a reminder that my eyes need to remain focused and remember that whatever hole I am trying to fill is only done by God and his holy plan for me.

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

To say this week has kicked me down is an understatement. To say I have been angry and wavering is an understatement. I have failed in trusting the Lord this week. I have argued with HIM, and begged and cried. Deep down in my heart I was hearing "it will be ok, I am providing" I haven't listened, or haven't wanted to.... "The Lord is clost to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
I think many a times we believe this coincides with grief. Of course there are many forms of grief; Loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, loss of a job, loss of pets, etc. But also the times when we have those "BAD DAYS" don't you think he is close to us then also? I believe he is there EVERYDAY, no matter the circumstance, but when it comes to anything we face, be it difficult or blessings...  morePsalms 34:18
