I grew up in a troubled house, however, I persevered in sports and the boy scouts achieving the rank of Life Scout in a time when rank was really earned. Challenges continued. In November of 1970, I heard a noise downstairs. On the second step was my mother breathing noisily. It turned out she suffered a fatal stroke. I actually did the first aid and called the MD (doctors still made house calls then) and the ambulance. Three years later, my father ended up with a debilitating stroke, the person that viewed me as a burden, I did the lion's share of direct home health care. All this and many more significant events were training and grooming me.
Eventually, I became a registered nurse and worked as such for 30 years, living for 7 years in Colorado and traveling to work part time in Florida twice. The last 17 1/2 years were spent working as the lone night nurse in a maximum security prison housing 1,000 inmates. I retired in 2010 due to health reasons.
In all of this, from very early in life, I took my faith and that Jesus taught seriously. There was a period of time, when I had anger due to the trauma and lack of opportunity I had making it through life. Only in my latter days do I feel whole and in a manner of speaking, finished my training. I prayed and fasted with thanksgiving. God stood by me when I felt ugly inside and now I believe I can make his effort to rehabilitate that which was broken by life pay off.
As I prayed for direction, I found Templar information and music on You Tube. Immediately, the Holy Spirit stirred my soul to take this direction. With Christianity wavering under the heat of Moslem persecution and the rise of Satanism (the fastest growing denomination in the US, by the way) not to mention the deterioration of morals in this country, it well time to stand up for Jesus, defend his sovereignty and return to a Christian faith based nation, witness against those who tread upon it and stand up for those who, for whatever reason, have not stood in the gap for God.

Howdy all. It sure has been breezy here for over a week. What normally takes three weeks for all our trees to lose their leaves occurred in 10 days. Yup. we have a drop area one block down a step street for leaves and this year, it took 63 trips to take care of most of our "bounty"!
We had a new kitten show up on our doorstep a few weeks back. We take in abandoned, abused or stray cats. He's the sweetest kitten we had since 1996 with out Toby. His name is Cinders.
Blessings to all,
Bill
