I attended a leaders’ council yesterday and bring forward several matters that require your attention and compliance.
First, roll call will now be administered at the Priory level. Turco Gary McCarthy is appointed Officer in Charge (OIC) for roll call operations. Attendance is mandatory and will be tracked accordingly.
Second, posting twice weekly is a standing requirement of this Order. This is not optional, nor an afterthought. It is an expectation.
Third, participation within our community strengthens the whole. Conversely, a lack of engagement does not go unnoticed and will be reflected accordingly. Contribution matters.
Fourth, signature blocks are mandatory when posting on the Worldwide page. Rank, name, Priory, and motto are required. On this Priory page, signature blocks are not necessary. Some have clearly not reviewed the Priory’s main guidance, and this must be corrected.
Lastly, we are the the second largest Priory within OMSDT, but not far from being in the lead and I am grateful for those who actively serve and participate. With size comes responsibility. We must lead by example. If one is unable or unwilling to contribute in a meaningful way, then an honest self-assessment is required. Promotion is earned through effort and service; longevity alone is not the standard.
Lastly look for this picture below to know when its time for roll call. The hours for roll call is Wednesday starting no later then 6:00 am till Saturday morning at 1:00 am due to the time zones. Also I will like people to do the same method as normal response as the old way.

BRIEF BIO OF ARTHUR C. SHARPE, JR. - 'ART'"
Born: April 1958 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Attended public schools and I am an Eagle Scout. Graduate of Mississippi State University (1980), and The University of Mississippi School of Law (1983). Admitted to the practice of law in 1983. Enlisted service in the Mississippi National Guard from 1981-1983. Commissioned in the United States Army (1983) as an Ordnance officer. Served in various command and staff positions over the years, including four times as a Unit Commander. Deployed to the Country of Iraq in early 2004 to bring the Iraqi Army to life. Recruited, trained, advised, and fought the first battalion of Iraqi infantry in their new army. Bronze Star x 2; Legion of Merit; for our efforts. Retired May of 2011 as a Lieutenant-Colonel. Immediately recalled to Active Duty from the Retired Reserve for three more years of active duty service as the Deputy Chief of Plans and Operations for Army Materiel Command - running the nerve center for one-third of the Army.
In civilian life, I've practiced law; served as an assistant attorney general; as a lawyer for various government agencies; served as an agency director and deputy agency director for multiple government agencies; served as an administrative judge for approximately nine years. I wrote legislation and regulations to establish Mississippi's Trauma System and directed the Office of Emergency Planning and Response during the response to Hurricane Katrina.
Since retiring from the military, I have worked primarily for companies which contract with the United States military, serving as a program manager, a deputy program manager, as corporate counsel, and as a mentor in the Department of Defense Mentor-Protege Program. I farm and engage in community service and charitable service activities as well.
Married to the love of my life, Michele Sharpe. Father of four children, one of whom served as an Army Intelligence Officer and was deployed to Iraq twice himself. Son of an infantry NCO who fought at the Chosin Reservoir and Punch Bowl. There have been members of my family in the military service of this great Republic in every war and conflict since before the Revolutionary War.
I am an humble Christian and desire to become more "Christ-like" in my attitude, my daily life, and my service to God and country.
Welcome brother Art! Glad to have you here as part of this Order and this Priory! Your story and history of your family is truly inspiring and amazing!
