A Dangerous Gentleman does not drift into hardshipāhe is deployed. If you are in a pit, a delay, a season of obscurity, or under fire, it is not accidental.
God does not misplace His men.
Joseph didnāt choose the pit.
David didnāt volunteer for the cave.
Paul didnāt schedule the prison.
Christ didnāt evade the cross.
Yet every one of them could say: I am here by Godās appointment.

Stop asking āWhy am I here?ā
Start declaring āI am here on assignment.ā
Refuse self-pity. Refuse panic. Refuse the lie that youāve missed God.
Where you stand right now is a post, not a punishment.
Warriorās Reminder:
I am here because God put me here. I will not abandon my post.

Cordis ad Deum
I am honored to announce a new member to our Order and to the Priory of King David. I had a great conversation with CAA Jeff Vaughan and I am excited for him to begin his Templar journey with us.
Here's what Jeff writes about himself:

Greetings in the Name of Our King Jesus. My name is Jeff Vaughan, and I am very excited to being a part of the Priory of King David and a member of the OMSDT Knights Templar. I live in Springfield, Oregon and am married to my beautiful bride Candi. We have been married for 6 years. I have 3 grown children from a previous marriage, and they have all moved in different directions.
I work as a Contract Security Officer in a medical clinic but have a masterās degree in counseling. I have volunteered for 10 years as a Police and Fire Chaplain with several different departments in Oregon and have enjoyed it very much. I was in the US Army as a Combat Medic for 3 years in Vilseck Germany but that was 30 years ago.
I am very passionate about helping others and have a huge heart for those who need comfort in times of hardship. I enjoy being able to share my life experiences and hopefully shining a light on those who need to hear about Jesus. I help on the Security Team at my local church and enjoy being able protect those I care about.
Some of my hobbies I enjoy are fishing, shooting firearms, traveling to the Coast and the Mountains (only 1 hour in each direction) and spending time with my wife and our 4-year-old Doberman Bug.
What has drawn me to be a Templar was, I was wanting a place that would be Christ centered and focused on bringing glory to God, charity, and providing help. I have tried to live my life by ancient virtues like integrity, honor, courage, humility and thought being a Templar was a good direction for me. Iām looking forward to supporting like-minded individuals, being able to use my life experiences to be able to maybe mentor, and to have sense of purpose/family with all those who hold the name Knights Templar.
Please join me in giving brother Jeff a warm welcome.
