I was just listening to the Daily Mass Reading on the OMSDT- Templar Knights Music page, there was mention of Reconciliation. It brought me to some deep thoughts on the matter. In my job, I see so much plight and the breakdown of the Family Unit. It also brought me to think about a word we often use in my line of work, Restoration.

We will not be forgiven by God unless we forgive those who we think have wronged us, regardless of whether they have repented or reconciled themselves to us. Anger and refusing to forgive are like anchors that hold us back, heavy burdens we carry willingly but needlessly. Anger hurts us more than it does the person we are angry at.
