Just some well intended babbling here...
I was a Boy Scout back in my youth. Some of the best days of my life were in Troop 285, summer camp, hikes, camping, jamborees not to mention the mile swims. I advanced in rank and began taking on leadership roles. We believed in something bigger than us.

Bear with me here, one of the awards in scouting was God and Country, after meeting a list of requirements you were awarded with this humble award.
So I'm looking through the internet pages for Knight's Templar gear right? I mean I am sure we all have at some point. I come across a patch the crusaders cross. It looked so familiar - my heart started to beat faster as I know i have seen this before and actually had worn this on my uniform as a scout. Finding the award on the net unleashed a flood of my memories.
My heart then realized that no longer is it the same in the BSA - I wonder if they ever really knew where their legacy came from....I know that something was there, at least for me. Maybe it was the initial footsteps which as led me here.
Peace to you all
