I am confined to my bed for at least 2 weeks, possibly more.
I think I might have alluded to the fact that I feel on the ice on Feb 11. I broke 4 toes on my left foot and my left ankle plus shattered the bones that connect the left foot to the leg and tore several ligaments and tendons. Also my left knee has ACL damage.

I think I might have alluded to the fact that I feel on the ice on Feb 11. I broke 4 toes on my left foot and my left ankle plus shattered the bones that connect the left foot to the leg and tore several ligaments and tendons. Also my left knee has ACL damage.
All in all I was lucky; the Lord protected me from the worst. I was retrieving an empty plastic trash can and when I fell my head hit the can rather than the ice which probably saved me from a concussion or even skull/brain damage.
I’m trying to get through this with nothing stronger than Advil for pain relief so I’m in incredible pain and am ready to give in and take the opioids. I have never had any problems with drugs etc but I just feel my suffering is nothing compared to what our Lord endured for me.
Please pray for the doctors and nurses as God guides their decisions and hands.
Hopefully after 2 weeks on bed rest and casts etc I can begin to walk a little but there is a chance of being bed ridden for 6-8 weeks! Possibly also surgeries and PT. I am going crazy already and it’s only been a few days!
