Gracious Father,
I pray for the world this coming year I pray for a peaceful year free of war and destruction
I pray that you protect all the vulnerable people of this world
Feed the hungry children and save people in war-ravaged areas
Save us from any pandemics or evil leaders. Protect us from environmental disasters and keep us safe Rain on our crops and increase our yield

I thought this prayer was very appropriate and beautiful.
I think we should all pray for all those effected by the two recent plane crashes. Also there have been several (3) recent house fires in my area recently, I pray for the families who are left homeless. I personally think 3 fires are too many to be chance and I think an arsonist is out there and even though he may a criminal I pray God bless him and help him with the mental help he needs.
