Like everyone, I’ve had “one of those days.” Whatever could go wrong; did. Work started out badly and just got worse as the day wore on.
I know everyone can relate, all humans have bad days and all humans commit sin. Noah is a perfect example, he had an alcohol problem according to the bible: “Noah began to be a man of the soil, and he planted a vineyard. He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent” (Genesis 9:20-2)

Thankfully we are able to come before our Father and seek forgiveness. It is that forgiveness that gives up eternal life and also peace.
After a day like the one I had today I am very thankful to pray to God and ask for and accept that peace and forgiveness in order to sleep restfully and be ready to fight the good fight for the Lord tomorrow. Here I offer a prayer when your ready to retire, especially after “one of those days.“
Dear Lord, As I close this day, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for your love and provision throughout my life. Thank you for the blessings of family, friends, and health. Thank you for the beauty of the world around me.
I am also grateful for the challenges I have faced, for they have helped me to grow stronger and wiser. Thank you for your guidance and strength through difficult times.
As I rest my head tonight, I pray that I will continue to feel your presence in my life. Thank you for your love and care.
Dear Lord, I ask for your guidance as I look ahead to tomorrow. Please help me to make decisions that are in line with your will. Show me the path that you have laid out for me.
I trust your wisdom and love and know you will guide me if I seek your direction. Amen
