What gives your life meaning? One clear way to find out is to go to Jesus and ask Him to search you and show you anything in you that is spiritually unhealthy or unholy. Opening ourselves up to the light of His scrutiny, to the truth of His Light, gives us an amazing sense of freedom. We have nothing to keep secret. Then God can do some truly amazing things in and through us because we don't have any bad intentions.
Prayer: Thank you, God, for giving me Your light through Your Son, who is the Light of the world. Please show me gently where I am weak, where I sin, where I am dishonest, and where I lie. I want to live my life only for You and only in front of You. In the name of Jesus, I ask for this in a humble way. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
