Psalm 69:30~ I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
When was the last time you sang praises to God outside of church or a devotional service? Why not open the Psalms and find a few verses that express your own praise and thanks to God, and then set them to music? God doesn't care if your spiritual gift is music or not; all He wants to hear is that your heart is full of joy as you praise and thank Him.

Prayer: O kind Father, You give every good and perfect gift. Please forgive me for saving my praise and thanks for special days and places. I praise You for giving Your human children the ability to celebrate good things, to be happy about what You've made, and to be able to praise and thank You. Thank You, Abba Father, for making our world so full of things for us to be thankful for. As long as You keep filling me with Your Spirit, may my heart overflow with songs of praise and words of thanksgiving. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
