The foundation of our relationship with God is the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, which we have accepted by obedient faith. That faith is based on the conviction that God not only exists but also truly cares about us and our desire to get to know Him. He longs to be a blessing to those who seek Him. But when we seek Him, we discover that knowing and being known by the one and only real God is much more gratifying than any other benefit!
Prayer: I do want to get to know You better, holy God. Please have a stronger presence in both my life and the life of Your Church. In Jesus' name, I ask it. Amen.
