I received a great honor last night. I was awarded a Spiritual Leader award for my years of service as a chaplain. It was overwhelming to hear the recognition and words from the President of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, with 150 law enforcement officers in attendance. Their enthusiastic applause sounded like thunder as their hands clapped.
