I am attending Online schooling at Liberty University. I have an Old Testament class and there are readings about Joshua, Gideon, Moses, 1 Samuel 1 1:28.
Myabe it'sd just me but some of the passages are pretty funny. Gideon...God if you do this, I'll do what you ask...then God does it. Gideon: Ok..Look, if you do THIS, i'll do what you ask...I'm thinking to myself that God is on His throne thinking..Keep going,, I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY, DUDE.

I see certain passages and you honestly have to laugh because these people look at the requests and think, SERIOUSLY? ME? UH UH..you got the wrong man. But God proves them wrong. Gideon sees that the enemy is more afraid of Gideon's army than anything else. The enemy is killing each other, running into each other...it had to look like a comedy.
And then there's Joshua. His army marches around Jericho and uses shouting and trumpets to bring down the walls. Science is wonderful. It has been proven that the human voice, with hundreds of others, can be used to destroy something. Some things just have to be believed.
