A man was sitting on his porch when a policeman pulled up. "Sir, there's a hurricane quickly approaching. It'll flood this whole valley. You need to come with me now to avoid being killed when this thing hits." The man refused to move. "God will spare me."
The hurricane hit. The water rose until the entire first floor of his house was underwster. The man stood by one of the upstairs windows as a small came pulling up. "Get in," they shouted. He refused telling them he trusts the Lord.
The waters continued to rise until they engulfed the house. A helicopter came swooping in, and still the man refused, trusting that God will save him.
The man drown. In heaven, he asks God why didn't He save him from drowning. God replied, "I tried... three times!"
