Holy Monday is the second day of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus’ cleansing of the Temple.

It is significant because it marks the beginning of Jesus’ confrontation with the religious authorities and the start of the events leading to his crucifixion.

This day also includes Jesus cursing the fig tree for not bearing fruit, a symbolic act of judgment.
