Has it occurred to anyone that our troubles never go away? The pain and suffering of our lives permanently affects our nature. There is no rest within ourselves.
The peace we all search for is just as constant, the alpha and omega. Metaphorically speaking Jesus Christ provides a mantle that covers our sin and brings peace to our souls. We but need to ask.

There is no rest within ourselves.
The peace we all search for is just as constant, the alpha and omega. Metaphorically speaking Jesus Christ provides a mantle that covers our sin and brings peace to our souls. We but need to ask.
As in all covers, coats, cloaks, or capes they can be left at home, on the road, or in the closet. We then find the nature we were born with is left exposed to the world and with our own doubts and worries and pain we look outward on to the world with all its faults and greed, envy, and lusts. And we soon forget our mantle given to us of grace from God, and even choose to seek it no more.
But it hangs still, in our closet, once given never taken away. Open your heart, and pray to your Father for his peace, his grace, and his love will show you the way.
You will soon see your mantle once more, and wear it humbly seeking nether fame nor glory, power nor wealth, greeting life’s unknown obstacles with the confidence that our savior who made possible the free gift of our sinless mantle, walks beside us.
We can do all things through the love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ our brother, and Commander, savior and God.
