This Day in History: The Norman Invasion

As a foreword to a newsletter I like to read (they also swordsmith one of the top swords available today), here’s some dates to keep in mind. Edward the Confessor died in 1066 CE. The Crusades are typically stated as beginning in 1095. And the Templars banded together to protect pilgrims to the holy land after the 1st Crusade, around 1099. Spreading the word of God wherever we go and wherever we stay. Salvation is at hand for all who ask. And believe in Jesus Christ.

On the road again, we live our lives on the road. Evangelizing and singing praises to the Lord. As we worship our Lord and savior everyday.

Has it occurred to anyone that our troubles never go away? The pain and suffering of our lives permanently affects our nature. There is no rest within ourselves.

The peace we all search for is just as constant, the alpha and omega. Metaphorically speaking Jesus Christ provides a mantle that covers our sin and brings peace to our souls. We but need to ask.
