Recently, from the post CAA Michael Thomas Guglielmo posted, I have learned there was a shooting at a Catholic School-Church in Minneapolis, killing two children, the ages 8 and 10. To my knowledge, given this event just happened, the names of the children have not been released yet. Seventeen others were hurt, including 14 children. That means someone shot 16 children.

Two are in critical condition. It comes to us to pray for these families, and to be part of the community that supports their recovery. I pray that all of those who have miraculously survived this act of violence make it out of recovery, and then are able to continue on as healthy as possible.

As not only Christians, but as Americans, It's important to be part of the reason that these shootings and acts of violence are minimized, and by the LORDs and our will, hopefully one day there will be no more violence, and the idea of a mass shooting happening is eradicated completely.

If you want to research more into this, and what you can do, please read here:

On a lighter topic, one actually centered around the LORD, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The IH Christogram. Don't let it be confused with the IHS Christogram, but rather this one predates even that. The IH Christogram was the first two letters of Jesus's first name in Greek, which Jesus's name in greek is ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (Iēsous), so it's the I = Iota, and H = eta. Together, they form an I in the middle, on top of an H. It was found in Early Christian Transcriptions, around the 2nd to 4th Century. You can find IH carved in Greek epitaphs or catacomb markings. It’s usually shorthand for Jesus when space was limited.

Early Christians abbreviated sacred names. "IH" (for ΙΗΣΟΥΣ) was one of these sacred abbreviations (alongside "XP" for Christos, "IC XC," etc.). In the East, “ΙΗ” (IH) and “ΙC” were common. In the West, “IHS” became dominant after the Latin Church adopted it more widely. Now, though, you will see IHS pretty much everywhere as the western influence of the church has spread all over the world, much more than the eastern influence. A picture of the IH christogram made by my brother in law (Who does graphic design if you're interested), is attached to this message.

Be with God, Brothers and Sisters.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit — just as it has taught you, remain in him.
