Greetings, Templar Family. I am happy to introduce our newest member to the Order and to the Priory of King David, David Monaghan. David is coming to us from an Order that OMSDT recognizes and therefore we will be honoring his rank of Knight. David writes this about himself:

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 30th, 1958 and was raised in the Catholic Church. My parents lived there until March of 1966 when we moved to Federal Way, WA for the big Boeing hiring. I continued in Catholic training till my Senior year in High School, however I found a Christian church nearby and started attending there. I felt more at home and liked the Christian way of performing services. I graduated in 1977 and then joined the Navy in August of 1979.
I was discharged in January of 1984 and then went to South Seattle Community College from 1985-1987, receiving an Associates Degree in electronics. I joined the Air Force National Guard in 1984 and left in 1987, then joined the Naval Reserve in 2001.
I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2006 and during that stay, I was baptized a second time. I did that because I was baptized when I was a baby. I wanted to understand why and how this affected my life. In 2013, I left Phoenix and moved back to Washington where I live with my wife, Lori, and Bella Rose, a female German Shepherd dog. I will be attending Liberty University in September, online so I can receive a bachelor's degree in Theology Christian Studies.
Please join me in welcoming Sir David to our Order!
